Due to the recent release of the Privacy Commissioners Report, NLSchools will be pausing its planned KinderStart(2026)/Kindergarten(2027) registration for Family of Schools 7 through 10 (formerly Avalon region) until September, 2026. The Report, which included recommendations following the 2024 PowerSchool breach, outlined a need to discontinue collecting MCP numbers. The delayed registration window will allow time for NLSchools staff to update its registration programming in order to comply with the new security measures. Families who registered earlier in May for Families of Schools 1 through 6, your registrations have not been impacted but you will be contacted soon to advise that MCP number will no longer be used going forward. We apologize for any inconvenience, but look forward to connecting again in September.
