It is the policy of NLSchools to staff the schools with the best qualified personnel and to use all personnel according to their training and skill, the needs of the schools, and the terms of employment as specified in employee contracts.
NLSchools currently employs more than 9000 teaching and support staff and provides a positive, team-oriented work environment that allows individuals to meet their full potential. Our search tool lets you quickly locate and explore all currently available positions in your profile category.
You can export your results to Excel or PDF - or print them directly.
To view every listing in a particular region or job type, simply select your desired region and/or type and click

For keyword searches across all regions and types, enter a term and hit

List All to display every posting. If logged into your profile, you are limited to viewing positions of your profile type.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE REGISTERING AND/OR APPLYING)
- When you create your account, MAKE SURE you setup Account Security in case you forget your password!
- Permanent employees must use their nlesd.ca email address as the default email address in their Applicant Services profile.
- All applicants applying for a EDUCATION POSITION must do a ONE TIME registration before applying for a posted position.
- All applicants must have at least one completed Candidate Reference Check submitted to their profile in order to apply for any position under the Educational Opportunities.
- DEADLINE for applications as per individual competition.
- In addition, ALL educational staff currently employed by NLSchools are required to create and/or update on a regular basis their information profiles.
- All applicants applying for a position must do a ONE TIME registration before applying for a posted position.
- All applicants must SIGN IN prior to applying for a specific position or to edit their existing profile.
- Candidates shall ensure that all required documents are uploaded at the time of application. This includes official University Transcripts, Teaching Certificates and a Police Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Query.

- Employees who have terminated their employment with NLSchools and wish to return to work with NLSchools shall supply an updated Police Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Query in order to be considered for employment opportunities.

CRIMINAL RECORDS SCREENING-VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK FOR
GRADUATING STUDENTS OR NEW TEACHERS TO THE PROVINCE
NLSchools is aware that there are delays in receiving Criminal Records Screening Vulnerable Sector Checks from the appropriate authorities. The following procedures are in place to address this concern.
- A new teacher looking to be employed with NLSchools must provide the latest Criminal Records Screening-Vulnerable Sector Check document in their possession. This document must be uploaded to their profile.
- A teacher who uploads a Criminal Records Screening Vulnerable-Sector Check document not dated within the last six months must also complete the Criminal Offense Declaration component of their on-line profile.
