The Education Accord NL has released its final report, which will help transform and modernize Newfoundland and Labrador’s education system.

The 10-year vision includes 110 calls to transformation that prioritize seamless transitions across the system, promote a learner-centric educational ecosystem, and embrace technology to prepare learners and educators for the opportunities and demands of the future.

Led by Dr. Anne Burke and Dr. Karen Goodnough, the Education Accord was informed by dialogue, consultation, and knowledge-sharing of diverse perspectives through an extensive engagement and consultation process. Input and engagement from content experts, focus groups, teacher working groups, key informant meetings, Indigenous Governments and Organizations, symposia, a public survey, and written submissions all shaped the development of the Education Accord.
