The Board of Trustees of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District held a virtual public meeting on March 28, 2020, live-streamed through the District website, where decisions were made relevant to current school system reviews.

The Board agreed to withdraw Notices of Motion that were given at the December 7, 2019 meeting pertaining to the Marystown Central High (Motion #1), Stephenville High, and Phoenix Academy (Carmanville) school systems. A second motion pertaining to the Marystown Central High school system was withdrawn at the February 1, 2020 public Board meeting. 

This means these school systems will remain status quo for the 2020-21 school year.
