Students at Jakeman All Grade in Trout River were extremely proud to have the opportunity to sing with Johnny Reid on in early April at his concert in Corner Brook. The students joined the world-renowned singer-songwriter on his song 'Today I'm Gonna Try to Change the World.' The experience was a fun-filled day of entertainment, amazement and happiness for Mrs. Pitttman-Baker and her students, as they took to the stage with Mr. Reid. Students also had the opportunity to take the microphone and to sing independently which was certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Special thanks to Mrs. Pittman-Baker, who pursued this opportunity for her students with pride in Jakeman All Grade and enthusiasm as a lover of music!
