There are lots of people who work behind the scenes to make sure our administrators and teachers have access to the tools and services they need to provide a happy, healthy educational experience for our young learners.

In partnership with the regional health authorities, the District has a number of school health promotion liaison consultants throughout the province to promote health within the regions.

Recently, Eastern Health profiled Krista Manning and Peggy Orbasali, two of the consultants in the Avalon region to highlight how health and education go hand in hand and are being supported by staff members throughout the education system.
