The students and staff at St. Lawrence Academy took the opportunity last month to display their support for friends and family living with autism as part of Autism Awareness Month. Awareness was front and center as the school hosted a number of events designed to educate their school community and embrace the differences among us all. Among the initiatives, everyone wore blue early in the month to show their support for autism awareness, another day saw all classes presented with information about autism, and to end off the month, students had a treat day where special autism awareness stickers were distributed to all students.
