Full time term CDLI Content Development Senior High Mathematics position. Duties to commence from September 2, 2025 to June 26, 2026.

Location options could be either Brother Rice in St. Johns, regional office in Gander, or an office or school site in other communities pending availability.

As the successful candidate, you will examine the Mathematics and English Language Arts curriculum to design and create instructional resources to support student's learning in an asynchronous setting. Candidates require a strong knowledge of and experience with the senior high Mathematics and English Language Arts curriculum. 

As a CDLI Teacher, your work will focus on your application of the 7 Determinants of the School Development Model which are: Wellness and Positive Relationships; Optimal Learning Environments; Instructional Practice; Assessment Practices; Collective Efficacy; Evidence-based Decision Making, and Teachers as Learners.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience in designing engaging multimedia lessons 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with digital tools to design digital content
  • Experience with Universal Design for Learning
  • Understanding of effective teaching and assessment practices in the E-learning environment
  • The ability to plan and implement effective and responsive teaching and learning practices for remote learners
  • The ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
  • The ability to engage professionally and collaboratively with colleagues regardless of their physical location

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor of Education, Major Mathematics
  • Appropriate Training Methods 
  • Equivalencies will be considered 

Annual Teacher Salary Scale contained within the NLTA Provincial Collective Agreement and benefits contained within the agreement.  

Applicants without the required qualifications may be considered in accordance with Clause 37.01 (d) of the provincial collective agreement.
