H. L. Strong Academy School System Review (Approved Motion)
The Board of Trustees of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District has recently undertaken an review of the H. L. Strong Academy school system with the potential for the school to close and students attend the Dorset Collegiate school system, beginning in September 2018.

Approved Motion
The following motion was table at the February 3, 2018 meeting of the Board of Trustees: WHEREAS the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District is committed to providing the best possible educational programs for students; and, WHEREAS school closure is required to achieve that objective; BE IT RESOLVED that: The motion passed and H.L. Strong Academy will close, effective June 2018. |
